A fun little R-rated romp that starts out with the somewhat crude (yet humorous) premise of the protaganists crashing endless weddings (hence the title) in the ongoing quest to get laid as many times as possible during the "wedding season", and ends up as a charming ode to true love and finding your soulmate (so it's obviously fiction). Nonetheless, I had a very enjoyable time. Vaughn and Wilson maintain the appropriate balance of sleaze and charm (much like the movie itself), along with a healthy dose of male obliviousness thrown in, and they create an enjoyable screen partnership. Fun if you have two hours to kill and want to sit in an air-conditioned theatre on a hot summer day, but it will hold up perfectly well on home video whenever it should come out.
